The house is amid vineyards, in a garden. The large rooms are well equipped, lay south and have a nice view on the Biel Lake, the St-Peter island and the Alps. By public transport, take the Tessenbergbahn, get down at "Festi" and walk about 7 min to the B&B.
Ligerz is an old and charming wine-growers' village. Especially worth a visit are the Aarbergerhaus, the Ligerz church (1526, barock interior, gothic exterior) and the "Festi", a house where the Swiss playwright Dürrenmatt lived. Regular boats from Ligerz to visit the St-Peter island and its ancient monastery.
