Our dining room is the perfect place for your family gatherings and celebrations, business lunch and other group outings. Your guests will appreciate its cosy fireplace and its splendid view on the Dent Blanche and Matterhorn. For our visitors, we suggest a "Walliser Teller". Picknick allowed. We sell some of our farm products in our small shop.

Breeding of many farm animals : Herens cows, , horses, donkeys, sheep, goats, pigs, hens and rabbits. We organise guided visits of the farm and its animals. In summer, we also organise birdwatching outings, horseback ridings as well as workshops (cheese making, bread baking int hte old village mill). In winter, we have cooking and painting workshops, without forgetting the skiing activities (free shuttle bus to the 4 Vallées ski slopes). Please contact us so that we may set up a program at your convenience. Advance reservation indispensable. Finally, the educational farm is also an excellent starting point for many mountain paths and walkways in the Val d'Hérence (especially along the bisses - ancient irrigation channels - of Vex and Heremence).

The educational farm "Au coeur du Val" is situated in a spectacular alpine setting on the heights of Hérémence near Les Masses, with an exceptional panorama including the Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn summit. "Au coeur du Val" is a working farm, active all year round, thus enabling you to discover many aspects of the farming life in the Swiss Alps. We offer simple - but very neat - accomodation.
