The "Dents Blanches" tavern is situated on a beautiful plateau, at an altitude of 1'500 m. The tavern serves a variety of mountain dishes, such as cold cuts, regional cheese specialities (fondue, croûte au fromage), soups, salads and desserts.
You can reach the "Dents Blanches" on foot or by car in summer, but only with snow-shoes or backcountry skis in winter.

From August to October, the Col de Bretolet/Col du cou is a wonderful birdwatching site as it is on the migrating route of many birds heading south above the Alps. Millions of passerine birds, thousands of birds of prey can be spotted there during their autumn migration. From the Swiss side, you get there in 1h30 from the Cantine des Dents blanches. Best hours for birdwatching : between 10 and 11 a.m. and 3 and 4 p.m. Take some good binoculars and make sure you stay on the indicated paths. Rock climbing school very nearby.

Be it for a mountain meal, a stay in the chalet, a pic-nic or just a drink, you are sure to get a warm reception at the "Cantine des Dents Blanches". The tavern has 4 dormiteries with bedding as well as 2 guest rooms. Toilet in the corridor. Shower possibility. Open from mid-March to mid-October (depending on snow coverage).
